Should I choose a plug in or hardwired installation for my charger?

We have both options: The NEMA plug supports up to 9.6 KW of power, while hardwire can go up to 11.5KW.

To help determine which setup works best for you, check your vehicle’s onboard charger capacity - It'll define how much power your car can pull.
What's new on the Gen 3 Mach 1?

Gen 3 have a new motherboard, charging connector and NEMA plug temp sensor; automatically reducing power gradually if heat is detected. It also senses your Mach 1 installation type and self-adjusts max current - no dip switches, no guesswork.
How fast can it charge?

Seriously fast! Up to 38 miles per hour when plugged-in (NEMA 14-50) or up to 46 miles per hour when hardwired.

Typically 6–8 hours for a full charge on NEMA 14-50 plug or 5–7 hours if hardwired.
