The body structure of XR Dog has been assembled before leaving the factory, and users only need to install the Raspberry Pi board box and AI camera.

  • Batteries and servos are consumables, so it is recommended to prepare more consumables for replacement.

  • If the angle of the servo is just within the "dead zone" range before power-on, it may turn to an inappropriate position after power-on. Therefore, please adjust the four legs to the normal standing or lying position before turning on the power.

  • The robot dog is controlled wirelessly via WiFi. The WiFi signal will be affected by the distance, obstacles and interference of other wireless signals. Under normal circumstances, the farthest control distance is about 25-30 meters.

  • If the legs of the robot dog become slow and weak, it generally means that the steering gear has been damaged, and it is necessary to purchase and replace the steering gear in time.

  • Pre-installed electronic kit: After the robot dog is out of the box, simply install the Raspberry Pi and the camera, you can easily control the robot remotely through the exclusive Android / IOS APP, view what the robot sees through FPV image feedback, and interact with XR DOG in real time. Users can also use the remote control handle included in the kit for control.
  • Intelligent AI vision: XR DOG is equipped with an open source visual AI system with built-in OpenCV, which can realize AI vision functions such as visual recognition of faces, colors, and QR codes. It supports computers to write robot dogs in python, and users with basic Python language knowledge can easily get started with the secondary development of the robot's AI functions.
  • 12DOF high level Bionic: Each leg of the robot dog is controlled by 3 bus servos, which can be compared to 3 joints of the elbow, shoulder and hip joint to accurately restore the action details. Based on inverse kinematics, it can walk forward, backward, left and right, and in all directions, and flexibly complete a variety of bionic posture actions.
